Vasont® Content Management System Adds Productivity Enhancements and Upgrades Editing and Publishing Tools Support with Latest Release

EMIGSVILLE, PA - February 27, 2012 - Today, Vasont Systems released the next interim version of their component content management system (CMS), Vasont® ST 2.3, which enables users to store multilingual content once for maximum reuse and deliver it to multiple media channels. This release provides more productivity tools for faster content processing and enhances the Vasont Extensions that support third-party editing and publishing tools. Vasont ST 2.3 is available on February 27, 2012 for both the perpetual license and SaaS (software as a service) content management system models.
Vasont ST 2.3 includes productivity improvements to allow Vasont users to more quickly find, create, and process content in the CMS. Vasont users can more easily search for the content they need using the Vasont CMS's new search capability within the styled Preview of the content. In addition, attributes are more flexible and editable for precise searching and content processing. To create new versions of content more quickly, Vasont ST 2.3 improves the usability for branching modular content in one simple step. Speed enhancements have also been made for loading and extracting XML and non-XML multilingual content to and from the CMS for faster editing and publishing.
Several Vasont Extensions that support third-party editing and publishing tools have also been upgraded in this latest release. The Vasont CMS's PowerPoint integration now supports PowerPoint 2010, allowing content to be published from the Vasont CMS to the most current version of PowerPoint for reuse in marketing, training, and other presentations. The Vasont Universal Integrator (VUI), Vasont's Extension for leading XML editing tools, has been updated with user interface and workflow advances to allow users to edit and process content more effectively in XML editors.
