Vasont Systems is a Featured Speaker on XML and Component Content Management for the Society for Technical Communications
Vasont Systems and technology partner JustSystems will present educational information on XML and component content management system (CCMS) basics in the Society for Technical Communication’s live webinar series
EMIGSVILLE, PA – November 25, 2013 – The Society for Technical Communication (STC) produces multiple live, one-hour, Web seminars each month on technical communication topics ranging from accessibility to user experience design. On December 6, 2013 at 1:00 pm Eastern Time, they will feature Suzanne Mescan of Vasont Systems, a top CCMS software provider, and Tom Magliery of JustSystems, a leading global XML editing software provider, as guest speakers in the presentation, “Orchestrate Your Technical Communications to Work in Harmony.” Registration for STC members is open at http://access.stc.org/prod/EventDetail?EventKey=MWEB120613&WebsiteKey=749f84ca-cf54-4b3c-8272-9e3fe238c6a7.
In this STC webinar, Suzanne and Tom will talk to technical communications leaders, managers, and sponsors of content management in an organization about what they can gain from making the move to XML. Just as an orchestra’s conductor must direct the musicians so that each part works with every other part to create a recognizable song, a manager of content must make all the scattered pieces of content gel into one cohesive document set. When content is transformed to XML, it functions like a well-rehearsed orchestra with seasoned musicians. This presentation will explain how XML and a CCMS can make content work in harmony for an organization.
“This webinar will be presented at a high level for non-technical managers who want to learn about ways they can allow their communications to make money for their organizations,” said Suzanne Mescan. “Technical communications are often viewed as a cost center for a company. We will show how it can help to generate revenue instead.”
